They say to blog about what you enjoy doing anyway. They say the posts written about the things you love come across as the most natural and fun to read. I happen to agree with what they say and I’ve discovered something: I love blogging. Writing has always been fun for me (this is evident in the stacks of journals and diaries now collecting dust in our attic that are full of poems, stories, and random thoughts), and filling this blog with tutorials and helpful tips about my DIY adventures has been a blast. So, why not blog about blogging?
Before all you non-blogging friends dismiss Charming Imperfections for another “blogging blog” that you could care less about, don’t worry: do it yourself projects are still my main focus here. I’m just going to post a little side series about this crazy thing called blogging and you can chose to ignore them if that’s not your thing 😉
Now, I’m still just starting out and my blog is by no means one of those big-blogs that is like crazy successful, but I have learned a lot and look forward to growing more. Hey, maybe you can learn with me and we can share our experiences together!
To kick off and celebrate having a new category of posts on Charming Imperfections, I’m doing a little re-design of the site. I’m super excited about it and hope it will make your experience here much more enjoyable.
