Is it starting to cool off where you are? We had a toasty labor day weekend, but the forecast looks like we’ll have some relief in this coming week. Well, regardless of the temperature, we can’t deny the feeling that fall closing in fast and soon and if you are like me you can’t wait to decorate for the new season.
Since we are on a tight budget, I won’t be able to go out and buy any decorations. Actually, I won’t be buying supplies to make new decorations, either, so it’s time to get creative. Using things from around my house I came up with this chicken wire and twine fall decor and I absolutely love it! My goal was to make something that is not too obviously “fall themed” so it can be used other times of the year.
Another little announcement for you is that I am very excited to have become a contributor at Over the Big Moon! I’ll be sharing a project once a month there and can’t wait! So, please be sure to head over and check out today’s project, the chicken wire and twine fall decor, and while you are there, browse around, because there are some amazing projects, recipes, and tips on that site!
I hope you have a wonderful start to your fall season and find time to create new and beautiful things. Find my tutorial for this lovely project at Over the Big Moon and I’ll see you there!
